Hello Viewers and Welcome, to the first Critique by me, the Critical 'Pean!
On the Menu Today:
-Tahini Hummus
-Clyde's Sliders
-Clyde's Brownie Sundae
Let us start with the Hummus: a lovely chickpea Hummus dip with Tahini and Olive Oil, served with sides of warm pita bread, celery, black olives, and carrots. Quite nice, as hummus goes, can't really go too wrong, though the ratio of sides - hummus was quite overwhelming, this tiny little bowl of hummus and a monumental amount of sides, but that is my only complaint, otherwise a lovely start to a meal. 3/5 stars
Now we move on to the main meal: Clyde's signature Sliders, four small hamburgers (with bun) speared on a little stake-like implement with lettuce at the bottom, surrounded by french fries. Now, the sliders aren't anything terrific, and the fact that they are impaled is slightly intimidating, but the french fries are amazing...possibly one of the best tasting french fries that I have ever tasted, high praise to you Clyde's, for not having absolutely disgusting fries! 4/5 stars
Finally, dessert, and I have to ask, who among you doesn't love a good sundae! Well this one was damn good: Clyde's Brownie Sundae is a sight to behold, a lovely warm brownie slathered in hot fudge sauce, topped off with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and another hefty helping of homemade whipped cream, and, if that wasn't enough, it is served in a goblet, a lovely wide brim ancient-looking goblet, its fabulous, definitely the best thing about the whole meal! 5/5 stars
Thank you for tuning in!
